Hi, my name is Scott and, at this point, I am 90% coffee. It may be some weird quirk of biology, but my body is able to turn this delicious bean potion into artwork. I don't presume to understand it's divine machinations. I just go with it.

We are born of the coffee. Made men by the coffee. Undone by the coffee.
I am 36 years old, I have a wonderful partner, and 3 amazing children. I am originally from California but now reside in the pacific north west. I've had a passion for art ever since the moment my motor functions developed enough to hold a pencil. As a kid my favorite thing to draw was dinosaurs. Jurassic Park had just come out and all of my friends were obsessed with it. I spent many of my after school hours drawing their favorite dinos from the movie. I still love dinosaurs, but now I focus a lot of my career designing for the textile industry and print industry.
I started my career on a laptop at 3.a.m, probably on a Tuesday, while working as a CNA for a gentleman with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). I'd always loved to draw and paint, but at that point had never taken on a serious graphic design gig. My first project was a logo for the band I was in, at that time playing the drums. We were just....really very, very bad BUT it did spark a passion in me for death metal logo design. I started offering my services to other bands in my area and my career grew from there.
These days I work as a proper graphic designer at a textile and print media firm in Eugene, Oregon. There I screen print, create advertising for local and national businesses, design tee shirts, and occasionally dabble in UX and web design
I also love fantasy cartography and drawing maps for various table top games in my spare time because I am a gigantic nerd
